2. Data collected

We collect the following data:

• Account data: email, encrypted password, first name

• Event data: couple names, wedding date, page customization

• Usage data: voice messages recorded by guests

• Technical data: IP address, browser, connection logs

3. Purposes and legal basis

Your data is processed to:

• Provide the audio guestbook service (legal basis: performance of contract, Art. 6.1.b GDPR)

• Improve our service (legal basis: legitimate interest)

• Send transactional communications (legal basis: performance of contract)

4. Retention periods

Account data: duration of subscription + 3 years

Voice messages: according to your plan (6 months, 2 years, or lifetime)

Billing data: 10 years (legal obligation)

5. Your rights (GDPR)

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, port, object to, and restrict the processing of your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at contact@dekrah.cloud. You may also lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.

6. Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Danger zone in your dashboard. This is irreversible and immediately and permanently deletes your account, your event(s), every voice message and photo, and any associated RSVPs; guest links and QR codes you've shared stop working right away. If you've paid for a plan and think you might want a refund, contact us at contact@dekrah.cloud before deleting your account — refunds are only possible within 14 days of purchase and before any message has been recorded, and we can no longer verify that eligibility once the account is gone.

7. Sub-processors

We use the following sub-processors:

• Supabase (data storage, hosted in Europe)

• Vercel (hosting, USA — adequate safeguards via SCCs)

• Stripe (payments)

• Resend (transactional emails)

8. Cookies

We only use technical cookies necessary for the service to function (session management). No advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
